If your company pays the monthly disability contribution, it can settle up to half of it through services from an authorised protected unit (UPA). Ours are support services related to fruit juice manufacturing, carried out entirely by our employees with disabilities. In return, your employees get a set monthly number of fresh juices at RON 1, 2 or 3 per cup.

All questionsHow much does a cup cost?
In public locations a 200 ml cup costs RON 15. At workplaces, employees pay RON 1, 2 or 3 per cup, depending on the option chosen by the company. The company pays a fixed monthly service fee of RON 2,800 to 8,900 excl. VAT, depending on the option and the monthly cup allowance (400, 500, 700 or 1,000).
Is OrangeFresh an authorised protected unit?
Yes. OrangeFresh is the brand of G.P.S. Universal SRL (VAT ID RO15098765), authorised by ANPD as a protected unit (authorisation no. 271 of 08.04.2024). Most of our colleagues are persons with disabilities.
Are UPA invoices deductible from the disability contribution?
Technically it is not a tax deduction. The law allows up to 50% of the monthly amount to be settled through purchases from a UPA under a partnership, instead of being paid to the state budget (Article 78(3)(b), Law 448/2006).
